Prep Time: 30-40 mins
Cook Time: 10-15 mins

Difficulty: Mid
Serves: 2-4
Ingredients:
To Bake:- 1 x batch fresh Pizza Dough (I used Donna Hay's Basic Pizza Dough Recipe)
1/4 tsp caster sugar
3/4 cup (185ml) lukewarm water
1 1/2 cups (225g) Plain Flour
1/2 tsp fine salt
1/2 tsp fine salt
- 2 Tbs Pâte (I use Normandie Pate Chicken Black Peppercorn)
- 1 - 1 1/2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, grated
- 50g Prosciutto, shaved
After Baking - Banh Mi toppings to layer:
- 50g prosciutto, shaved
- A few squirts Kewpie Japanese mayonnaise
- A few squirts sriracha chilli sauce
- 1/4 cup carrot pickle or 1 small carrot freshly shredded/julienne (refer to my quick pickle recipe)
- 2 x baby Qukes cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 2 x small red radishes, thinly sliced
- A few sprigs of Coriander, picked
- A few sprigs of mint, picked
- 1 x spring onion stem, thinly sliced
- 1 x red chilli or jalapeño, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbs fried shallots
Steps:
- Combine the yeast, sugar and water in a bowl. Set aside in a warm place for 10 minutes or until bubbles appear.
- Place the flour and salt in a bowl and make a well in the centre. Add the yeast mixture and stir until it comes together. Cover with a clean tea towel and set aside in a warm place for 20–30 minutes or until the dough has doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to 1cm thick. Press into ~ 25cm x 40cm lightly greased baking tray (or make 2 smaller pizzas if you prefer). Spread with Pâte, top with cheese & prosciutto.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and the base is crispy.
- Drizzle pizza with mayonnaise, Sriracha chilli sauce, then top with additional prosciutto, pickles, cucumbers, radish, fresh herbs, spring onions, fresh chillies & fried shallots.
- Enjoy!

LisaDiepCooks Notes:
- While it looks like a lot of ingredients it’s actually not that labour intensive, all you need to do is make the dough (unless using pre-made base). It is also versatile so use what you have in your fridge/pantry. See substitution suggestions below:
- Pizza base: fresh pizza dough, pre-made pizza base, pita/flat bread.
- Protein: Chả lụa (Vietnamese ham), meat balls, cured ham/prosciutto, roast pork, bbq duck, eggs, cooked prawns.
- Pâte: fresh or canned (don’t skimp on this! When it’s baked with the cheese it taste sooo good!).
- Cheese: mozzarella, bocconcini, tasty, provolone (anything that melts!).
- Sauce: sriracha, Japanese kewpie mayonnaise, Sambal, garlic sauce.
- Pickles: carrot or daikon (refer to my blog for my quick pickle).
- Fresh Salad & Herbs: cucumber (I like baby qukes), red radish, mint, coriander, green spring onions.
- Garnish: fried onion, fresh red chilli or jalapeños slices.
